TRENDS IN EVOLUTIONARY MEDICINE

Evolutionary Medicine Journal is an Ashdin publishing journal which has a wide scope and follow principle of evolutionary Biology .

 The Journal of Evolutionary Medicine publishes articles that involve application of evolutionary principles to the health sciences . Papers are accepted across the entire spectrum of scientific inquiry ,which include :- perspectives, presentation of hypotheses and historical articles; laboratory, clinical, epidemiological and comparative studies ;policy related to public health and research strategies.The journal welcomes submissions over a broad range of disciplines and approaches, including epidemiology, clinical studies, mathematical modeling, computer simulation, comparative studies, historical analyses and health policy. The scale of inquiry spanned by the articles is comprehensive from molecular mechanisms and physiological processes to population characteristics and global health. The scope of conditions considered is also wide-ranging, inclusive of infectious, genetic, and environmental influences on health and disease and the interplay among these influences .

There are total 26 members in the Editorial board along with the Editor in chief , who is from United State of America .

Evolutionary medicine journal accept all types of manuscripts like research articles, Review articles, case reports, case series, Editorials, perspective  type, commentary, short communications, Mini Reviews etc.

Journal of Evolutionary Medicine adheres to the highest possible ethical standards, as described, for example, by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors . If an ethical problem related to a submitted or published article is referred to the editor, then the editor will evaluate the problem as outlined by appropriate bodies such as the ICMJE and the Committee on Publication Ethics .

The authors can expect that the submission will be peer reviewed according to standards of academic and publication excellence. The submission will be considered by an editor who will, if the submission is suitable, seek appropriate peer reviewers. If there is a request for a specific reviewer, this will be considered and held in strict confidence by the editors.
